My experience fighting all of hell as a summoner in single-player, bosses included, was mostly a cakewalk. 85 All Resist boost is not to be messed with.I would argue that summoning necromancers are the easiest character type to play through hell difficulty with. Should have used Um'ed Kira's, that's for sure. ![]() I think i lost about 700 Life once to that, i lost my shit then, i.e. They can deal so much damage in Hell mode it's freaky. They start hitting or kill that boss monster, and you get fried by Lightning bolts or shattered by a Frost nova. Having an army may be good protection, but monsters move very fast in Hell mode, and it is enough with just one Lightning or Cold enchanted boss monster slipping through and targeting you, then your Merc and a couple of Skeletons come running after, and you get 1 second reaction time, and you may be a bit tired and slow, and then it's done, game over. so that's how it usually goes ^^ But it's fun as long as it lasts. But i always end up dying in Hell mode, since he usually has so low life, and since i won't invest so much in his gear, that his life and resists are usually very low, so i am not used to be play style either. I think a good Skeleton Necro is lots of fun to play, very relaxed, but as i just play HC, and don't buy high end stuff, i have tried making one just for fun the last two seasons, because i have been lucky enough to find an Arm of king leoric almost every season. But, Baal went down within 10-15 seconds or so. With Decrepify on Baal, the Urdars seemed to stun him too, and the way the Skeletons looked when they swung their axes was hilarious, with so many on top of each other ^^, Looked ridiculous. I don't buy high end stuff, but i saw a Tele Skeleton Revive Necro on Youtube, that was funny as hell ^^ He revived lots of Urdars and also Skeletons, and Teleported to Baal.
